We are currently seeking a dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney specializing in wage and hour law to join our dynamic Legal & Regulatory Compliance team. This role is critical in ensuring that our employment practices comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, particularly relating to wage and hour issues. The ideal candidate will provide legal advice, support HR policies, conduct legal research, and represent the organization in labor disputes. Advise on labor and employment law issues with a focus on wage and hour compliance. Draft, review, and revise employment policies and procedures. Represent GMR in labor disputes and legal proceedings. Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant changes in labor law. Collaborate with HR to ensure policies align with legal regulations. Manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously with a high degree of competency and accuracy. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws, especially wage and hour regulations. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work autonomously and within a team on a broad variety of legal matters. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
