Job Description Job Description LHH is assisting an AmLaw 100
law firm seek a Commercial Litigation Paralegal for their downtown
Dallas office. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for
supporting attorneys and other paralegal staff in all phases of
litigation , including case management, court filings, document
review and production, docket management, document organization,
drafting and responding to discovery, deposition and trial
preparation, and cite-checking. Working under attorney supervision,
you will have the opportunity to work on high stakes cases with a
dynamic legal team. Benefits: Salary ranges from $ 90,000 -
$120,000 DOE Discretionary, performance-based bonus Work 1 day
remotely Paid Parking by Firm Full benefits package including
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, PTO Experience Bachelor's
Degree required. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience at an AmLaw
100 firm preferred. Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved
program. Proficiency in Texas state and U.S. federal court
procedures . Understanding of common litigation practices,
procedures, regulations, and workflow. Proficiency in iManage ,
LexisNexis, Westlaw, MS Office, Adobe Experience with eDiscovery
Databases such as Relativity, Opus 2, and CaseMap. Experience with
hotseat and trial presentation software such as Trial Director
and/or OnCue a plus. Billable hour requirement is currently 1,725
hours but will be changing to 1,600 hours. Qualifications Ability
to support complex litigation cases from beginning to end.
Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
Flexible and able to multi-task, balancing priorities and tight
deadlines. Proactive and able to efficiently handle multiple
projects and client matters simultaneously. Must possess strong
written and verbal communication skills. Superior analytical and
reasoning abilities. Prepares and timely submits timekeeping
reports. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with
members across multiple offices. Available to travel as needed.
Ability to work overtime as necessary. Responsibilities include:
Assisting Attorneys in all phases of litigation from case
initiation through trial. Assisting with calendaring case
deadlines. Assisting with drafting court filings and preparations
in Federal and State courts. Assisting with discovery, document
collection, organization, review, and productions. Proofreading,
cite checking and blue book court briefs and discovery documents.
Assisting with deposition, meeting, or interview preparations.
Assisting with all aspects, including travel, of trial and
arbitration preparations. Preparing various charts and indices.
Coordinating with external vendors. Performing various day-to-day
case management tasks. Mentoring and providing guidance to junior
paralegals and legal assistants as needed. If you meet the
