The ideal candidate will have experience representing insurance carriers in litigation, developing effective case strategies, and delivering high-quality legal advocacy. This role involves managing an active caseload, appearing in court, and collaborating closely with clients and internal team members to drive favorable outcomes. Key Responsibilities Represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters Draft, file, and argue motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support case strategy Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required Negotiate settlements when appropriate Maintain detailed case files, documentation, and progress reports Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure effective case management Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance defense litigation Strong understanding of insurance law, civil procedure, and litigation practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong negotiation abilities and courtroom presence Proven capacity to analyze complex legal issues and craft effective strategies Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple cases - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
