IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR CIVIL LITIGATION INSURANCE DEFENSE ATTORNEY

We are ACTIVELY seeking a Civil Litigation Insurance Defense Attorney with 8 plus years of Litigation experience to join our elite team. The Senior Litigation Attorney will have the opportunity to handle challenging legal work for many of the leading companies within our industry. This is not a remote position.

The successful candidate MUST have insurance defense and civil litigation experience and MUST have motions practice, depositions and courtroom experience. The ability to work within a team environment including Associates, paralegals and legal assistants is essential.

Qualifications

Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.
Must have 8 plus years of defense litigation experience to be considered.
Experience handling general liability, professional liability, construction, complex commercial litigation, insurance defense, medical malpractice.
Experience in drafting motions, pleadings, memoranda and briefs, discovery demands and responses a must.
Experience handling court appearances, depositions and trial experience a plus
Superior communication, writing, and research skills

Responsibilities

Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
Work closely with all staff members on legal projects
Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
