At Lockheed Martin, a leader in global aerospace, defense, and advanced technologies, we are currently seeking a visionary Senior AI Software Engineer to join our Information Technology and AI team. This role involves crafting and refining systems that integrate AI into our cutting-edge aerospace and defense solutions, aligning with our commitment to maintaining high ethical standards, inclusivity, and teamwork. The position focuses on the development, implementation, and optimization of artificial intelligence algorithms to bolster our technological capabilities and enhance our products, ensuring they meet our stringent standards and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders. Design, develop, and maintain AI models and algorithms tailored to the needs of aerospace and defense technologies. Collaborate closely with IT, engineering teams, and stakeholders to define AI project scopes and deliverables. Initiate and lead the development and enhancement of AI-powered applications, focusing on automation, data analysis, and process optimization. Oversee testing, validation, and implementation of AI solutions ensuring adherence to technical and ethical standards. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in AI and machine learning, applying this knowledge to influence product innovation. Proficient in AI programming languages like Python, Java, or R Strong background in machine learning libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design Working knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure) Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AI models and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
