population. Licensure and Certification Certification by the National Commission of Certification of
Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Certification required. Licensed by
the Texas Physician Assistant Board. OR Licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by Texas State
Board of Nursing. Authorization for prescriptive authority by the
Texas Board of Nursing. Acute Care certification. Current applicable (ACLS) American Heart Association or American
Red Cross Life Support certification(s) based on UT Southwestern

JOB SUMMARY
Are you passionate about working in a high-acuity, critical care
environment? If so, we invite you to explore this exciting
opportunity! Our growing Anesthesiology team is seeking an
experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to
provide exceptional care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
(CVICU) at Clements University Hospital (CUH) and Zale Lipshy
Pavilion. This role features a rotating 12-hour schedule, including
days, nights, and weekends with additional pay for night and
weekend shifts. Approximately two weekends per month. We are
looking for a skilled provider with a background in inpatient
critical care or hospitalist medicine. Veterans are strongly
