The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant works to provide therapeutic programs to pediatric patients with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities or delays in the home and community setting under the direction of a Speech Language Pathologist. Immediately reports any changes in client condition or response to therapy to the supervising speech-language pathologist. - Implements changes in the plan of care when written by the supervising speechlanguage pathologist and authorized by the client’s physician. - Consults with supervising speech-language pathologist regarding the client’s progress and response to treatments.
