You will mentor nursing leaders using evidence-based practices, collaborate with physicians and staff, and advance organizational goals through performance improvement and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership to managers and frontline staff, developing long-term strategies, budgets, and staffing productivity goals (e.g., HPPD). Oversee quality, safety, patient experience, performance improvement, policy creation/revision, and regulatory compliance. Mentor staff on evidence-based practice, orientation programs, continuing education, and clinical proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and unit equipment. Resolve patient/family issues, collaborate with CNO and departments, conduct evaluations, and boost satisfaction scores (e.g., HCAHPS). Demonstrate flexibility under stress, professional communication, and a confident demeanor aligned with organizational values. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school (Master s preferred). Current RN license in the state of practice. 5 years of progressive acute care leadership experience; strong Med-Surg/Telemetry background preferred. 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams and operations. Preferred Skills and Attributes National certification and experience publishing/presenting. Proficiency in patient safety, evidence-based practice, and cross-department collaboration.
