Requirements for PRN - 4 shifts every 6 weeks plus one minor and one major holiday per year. RN candidates with Med Surg ICU experience preferred Intensive Care Unit Our Intensive Care Unit is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients. Intensive Care Unit Patient Population: Nephrology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Geriatrics, Surgical, Medical, Cardiology, pulmonology, Trauma and Gastrointestinal. Patient Ratios: 1:2 Number of Beds: 12 Department Specifics: We are a small but mighty generalized ICU with training in specialty devices such as Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella and CRRT. This is a highly engaged team with a focus on high quality patient care and process improvement. The team has a robust shared governance with decision-making opportunities that leads to department process improvements and multidisciplinary collaboration. The hospital is Level III trauma, primary stroke center, and a primary heart attack center.
