Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist specialized in Pediatrics and NICU to join our team at one of our nearly 2,000 care sites, focusing on delivering patient-centered, high-quality medical care. This role primarily involves managing and treating young patients requiring respiratory therapy, especially newborns in our NICU. As part of our commitment to improving human life, we are looking for compassionate professionals who can enhance our pediatric respiratory care services. Assess, diagnose, and treat infants and children with breathing disorders or diseases. Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illness. Collaborate with pediatric care teams to formulate individualized care plans for patients. Educate parents and families on the respiratory conditions and ongoing care procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and prepare clinical reports to ensure consistent care. Implement interventions to prevent respiratory health complications in newborns and children. Proficiency in using respiratory care equipment such as ventilators and oxygen supply systems Strong understanding of respiratory conditions specific to infants and children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in high-stress, fast-paced environments Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential is mandatory Active license as a Respiratory Therapist in state of practice BLS certification PALS certification preferred
