Texas Health HEB seeks to hire a Behavioral Health Nurse to work in the Springwood Behavioral Health Unit. This opportunity will be working at our Bedford Hospital campus located at 1600 Hospital Parkway in Bedford, TX 76022. The work schedule for this opportunity will be night shift, 7p (1900) to 7a (0700) and includes rotating weekends and holidays. Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford is a 296-bed, acute-care facility serving Northeast Tarrant County since 1973. With more than 550 physicians on its medical staff, hospital services include outpatient surgery, women's services, a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a dedicated oncology unit and cardiac rehabilitation. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will possess the following qualifications: Education Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience 1 year experience as a clinical nurse or completion of a RN Residency program required Licenses and Certifications RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire required And ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 6 months required Or CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 days required And ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 12 months required Skills A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. -- Position Responsibilities
