We're looking for a qualified -Registerd Nurse -like you to join our Texas Health family as a PRN RN for our Observation Unit! Position Highlights --- - - -Work location: Texas Health HEB - 1600 Hospital Pkwy. Bedford, TX 76022 --- - - -Work environment: Our observation unit is 11-beds that cares for more than 60,000 patients annually that provides quality care to the mid-cities area within the DFW Metroplex. --- - - -Work hours: -PRN II, 3 -shifts per 6 week schedule, 1 -weekend shifts per 6 week schedule - Day Shift Texas Health Harris HEB -is a 296-bed, acute-care, full-service hospital serving our community since 1973. Our location in the DFW mid cities provides convenient care to the residents of Hurst, Euless, Bedford, and the surrounding areas. • Associate Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire
• BCLS - upon hire - expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
• ACLS - within 90 days of hire
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training - within 60 days of hire
• 1 year -of -experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program required.
• Cardiac Tele experience preferred
• NIHSS within 30 days of hire In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will
  • demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients.
  • possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism.
