This position reports directly to the SVP, Strategy and works closely with the AspenTech executive leadership to develop and communicate growth strategies across the functions and business segments. This position will frequently interact with the global organization and provides a tremendous opportunity for a candidate to join or elevate their career within AspenTech.Your Impact

• Supporting major management events such as board meetings, investor conferences, and overall strategic planning activities.
• Studying industries, geographical markets, customers, technologies, channels, acquisition candidates, and any other field in support of organic or inorganic business development.
• Creating and communicating insights for the organization around competitor and customer strategies and performance.
• Working closely with multiple different functions, businesses and world areas to understand, support, and lead strategic programs.
• Developing and presenting business strategies at an executive level.What You'll Need
  • Master's degree in Business Management (MBA) or equivalent with a technical undergraduate degree.
  • Three or more years related experience.
  • Prior experience in industrial software
  • Independent thinker and who can work effectively with peers and leaders across all major business functions.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills, communication skills, business acumen, drive for results, and sense for technology and industry trends.
