Senior Director Human Resources - Commercial To provide a broad range of Human Resource expertise to support achievement of business objectives of Lantheus. Acting as a partner to Management, the incumbent will work closely with executives, middle managers and employees to plan and execute strategic and tactical HR initiatives that are aligned with corporate and business unit goals. Business oriented - balances business interests with employee advocacy. This position will support a client base of -300 employees and will report directly to the VP of Human Resources.Essential Functions

  • Meets regularly with leaders to discuss and assess their business and operational needs and develop HR plans to drive organizational success
  • Assesses business objectives, workplace environment, workforce issues and feedback from managers and employees. Identifies HR priorities and imperatives. With the HR team, develops strategic and tactical plans that are aligned with the needs of the business units and the corporate goals and objectives
  • Works with HR & Business leaders to set strategy, drive continuous improvement, manage all goal setting and performance management activities and support onboarding
  • Works closely with senior executives and people managers to provide expertise and hands on support in multiple areas including headcount planning, talent management, organizational development, management coaching, performance management, change management, and employee communications
  • Will provide coaching to executives, managers and employees on performance management processes and ensures on time and well executed performance feedback including year-end reviews and performance improvement planning
  • With executives, conducts Talent Management planning including use of assessment tools and successor identification and development
  • Ensures compliance with company-wide HR policies and procedures. Identifies and recommends changes to corporate policies that ensure regulatory compliance and best practices
  • With hiring managers and HR staff, collaborates on recruitment and talent acquisition strategies including job description development, requisition approval, sourcing and assessing candidates
  • Assists Total Rewards Team in salary and bonus planning with respective groups. Advises function heads on compensation plans, deadlines and assists in on time completion
  • Identifies opportunities where training and/or coaching can improve individual and group performance. Works with VP HR on appropriate development strategies and M&A activities
  • Works very closely with business partner colleague as a unified team, ensuring consistency and robust communication among one another, as well as among cross-functional client groups
  • Works with external immigration advisors to ensure compliance and adherence to immigration regulationsJob Requirements
    • BS/BA plus 7+ years' experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner with manufacturing work experience and knowledge across multiple HR functions.
    • Demonstrated track record in providing valued counseling to business leaders
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are required along with initiative, sound judgment and decision-making ability
    • Experience working with a Commercial Team
    • Experience with M&A and working in the Pharmaceutical of Life Science industry a plus
    • Demonstrated track record in successfully navigating complex employee relations issues
    • Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with all levels of leaders and employees - strong listening, relationship building, problem solving, influencing and conflict resolution skills
    • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations
    • The incumbent is expected to model the organizational values and positive spirit of the company to all internal co-workers at any level
    • Positive, high energy, collaborative and a team playerThis is a hybrid role. The incumbent will need to come into the Bedford, Ma office 3+ days a week and travel as needed. -
