Job Description
Consistently meet and exceed guests' expectations and owners'
financial expectations.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
Guest
- Maintain cleanliness and service standards in the hotel at a
Four Star-Four Diamond Level in all areas you are responsible
for.
- Follow through with Departments in regard to quality of
service. Develop and maintain service improvement plans for all
areas.
- Ensure communication channels are open with all departments and
individuals you are responsible for.
- Ensure staff is adapting to the constant changing of our guests
needs and wants.
- Ensure service to all guests follows established standards, is
consistent, efficient and
- Know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent
accidents.
- Know and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
- Know and adhere to all company policies and
procedures.
- Responsible for the quality and efficiency of Housekeeping and
R&M function as related to: cleanliness of all guest areas;
payroll and supply control in accordance with budget and varying
levels of business; excellence in appearance of all public areas
and physical property.
- Consistent application of MOS training and weekly Success
Checklists.
- Ensure the execution and maintenance of the frequent guest
program.
- Perform any other duties required by senior management.
Owner
- Ensure our brand is positively promoted within the
community.
- Ensure we are constantly maximizing revenue.
- Ensure we are merchandising our F & B Operation.
- Ensure we have acceptable profit margins and flow
through.
- Maintain our physical assets.
- Participate in weekly forecasting and scheduling; daily
reviews, operating results and take immediate corrective action if
required.
Associate
- Develop growth and development plans for high potential middle
managers.
- Monitor turnover rate and ensure it is at a reasonable
level.
- Ensure RAPS are implemented and being done by yourself and your
department heads.
- Be involved in the determination of SDDP candidates. -
- Ensure excellent hiring and training initiatives to support 4
Diamond Service Culture.
- Support and Direct all Omni Hotels Programs and
Culture.
- Maintain positive work environment, ensure participation in
biannual AOS survey and carry
- - - - - through all AOS action plans.
- Insure that associates are properly trained and participate in
all corporate training initiatives
- - - - - where applicable.
Payroll
- Review weekly forecast volume in covers.
- Review scheduled hours in line with volume range.
- Ensure all overtime is authorized.
- Decrease or increase staff as required.
Revenue
- Attend all Revenue Merchandising Meetings.
- Review and monitor forecast for all Departments you are
responsible for in the hotel.
- Ensure Big Four Inventory and monthly departmental inventories
are completed and proper ordering according to forecast and
budget.
General
- Directs property operation in General Manger's
absence.
- Know and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
- Know and adhere to all company policy and procedure.
- Ensure safety and security levels are maintained for the well
being of our guests and

- Close communications with the General Manager and other
department heads. Recommends
- - - - - programs for the motivation and development of staff. -
Assistance in developing annual
- - - - - budget and preparation of action plans.
- Maintains high visibility with associates and guests.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Knowledge, Training, & Work
Experience)
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalency required.
- Must have previous experience in all aspects of the Rooms
Division /hotel in a 4 - diamond property of similar size and
quality for a period of two or more years.
- Experience in forecasting & scheduling, daily reviews and
analysis of operating results preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of a computer is necessary (i.e.
Microsoft Office Suite).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
required.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to
nurture managers-in-training.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Must be able to work closely and communicate with all
associates, departments, guests, and clients in a professional
manner.
- Must be highly service-oriented.
