To learn more, please visit:https://www.nfp.com/ SUMMARY: The Account Manager II will service an assigned book of clients by independently executing NFP client service deliverables, supporting agency growth, and building mutually beneficial long-term relationships. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Having a nimble approach to identifying exposures and providing customized solutions
  • An active pursuit of revenue growth by upselling, account rounding and referrals within P&C, Group Benefits, and Wealth Management
  • Responsible for healthy long-term relationships with clients, carriers, and colleagues We offer the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule; must be able to work from our Bedford NH office a few days a week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Maintains and fosters a positive attitude in the workplace
    • Follows agency guidelines for contact standards, documentation requirements, and workflows
    • Enters and maintains accurate client data in the CRM database
    • Uses agency technology to distribute and manage documents
    • Professional and prompt client service including phone, email, and walk-in inquiries
    • Engages and utilizes supporting service teams per agency guidelines to efficiently service clients in a timely manner
    • Provides positive leadership and direction to supporting service personnel
    • Liaises appropriately with industry partners and carriers to meet underwriting guidelines and satisfy recommendations
    • Proactively initiates and executes ongoing account reviews with clients per agency guidelines
    • Processes policy transactions
    • Remarkets accounts/policies when appropriate
    • Maintains average annual retention rate of 90% or higher
    • Proactively follows up on lost accounts for Win-back attempt
    • Secures an assigned number of upsells per month
    • Secures an assigned number of new lines of business per month
    • Meet annual growth deliverables
    • Monitors financial status of accounts, collect premiums and adhere to agency collection policies
    • Work on special projects at the direction of local leadership Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
      • Possesses a strong work ethic and integrity
      • Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication
      • Confidence to make sound independent decisions
      • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines, and technology
      • Demonstrates the ability to quickly and proficiently understand and implement new information
      • Ability to meet servicing timelines by prioritizing and multi-tasking
      • Ability to successfully interact and function well in both a team environment andautonomously
      • Ability to maintain calm under pressure
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
      • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
      • Sharp attention to detail Education and/or Experience:
        • More than 3 years' client service and/or industry and product line experience preferred
        • High School graduate or general education degree (GED) required
        • P&C License required
        • CRM knowledge; EPIC preferred Preferred Qualifications:
          • Professional insurance designation
