Facility Maintenance Inspect and perform regular maintenance on
HVAC, heating, and ventilation systems. Check and maintain
elevators, escalators, and other mechanical systems. Ensure proper
functioning of electrical systems and lighting. Monitor pumps,
motors, generators, and water systems. Preventive Maintenance of
Guest Rooms and Common Areas Regularly inspect furniture, doors,
windows, and locks. Ensure proper operation of hot water systems,
faucets, and bathrooms. Check safety systems such as fire alarms,
smoke detectors, and sprinklers. Maintenance Control and
Documentation Create and update preventive maintenance schedules.
Record all inspections and repairs performed. Identify recurring
issues and recommend corrective actions before major problems
occur. Inventory and Resource Management Ensure availability of
spare parts and necessary maintenance materials. Coordinate
purchases or replacement of critical components. Safety and
Compliance Adhere to industrial safety standards and internal hotel
procedures. Ensure that electrical, mechanical, and safety
equipment operates in compliance with regulations.
Interdepartmental Collaboration Work with other departments, such
as front desk and housekeeping, to minimize guest disruption.
Schedule repairs and inspections at times that do not interfere
with hotel operations. Resource Optimization Recommend equipment or
system upgrades to improve energy efficiency. Implement practices
that reduce long-term maintenance costs. Requirements: Must be
fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication
skills. Able to understand technical manuals, safety protocols, and
communicate effectively with guests, contractors, and hotel staff.
Capable of documenting maintenance reports and schedules clearly in
English.
