us! Job Description: This job is responsible for overseeing and
monitoring the management of one or more of the banks high-risk or
distressed commercial loan portfolios. Key responsibilities include
setting strategic priorities, driving business plans focused on
reducing and volatility and severity of losses, and leading a team
in the execution of these business plans. Job expectations include
cultivating a risk management culture, executing strategic
initiatives that support responsible growth, and driving
operational excellence. Responsibilities: Monitors the loan workout
processes and limits losses on outstanding loans for one or more
regions Develops business plans for the loan workout function and
holds team accountable for the execution of the business plans
Assists management in policy making and personnel related
activities Works closely with origination/transaction staff in
resolving problem loan situations Manages and oversees adversarial
collection actions such as litigation, foreclosures, bankruptcies,
and receiverships Provide executive oversight of high?risk and/or
distressed corporate and syndicated loan portfolios within GCIB and
GM, with primary focus on the U.S., Canada, and LATAM. Review and
approve key credit actions, including restructurings, amendments,
forbearance agreements, and exit strategies. Manage and oversee
adversarial and non?adversarial collection actions, including
litigation, foreclosures, bankruptcies, receiverships, and
restructurings. Partner closely with internal and external legal
counsel to manage complex enforcement actions and restructuring
negotiations. Anticipate emerging portfolio risks and proactively
adjust strategies in response to macroeconomic, industry, and
regulatory changes. Managerial Responsibilities: This position may

Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate
workout, credit restructuring, or related credit risk management
experience. Demonstrated experience managing syndicated and agented
credit facilities with multiple lenders Strong credit underwriting
and analysis capabilities, including risk rating, structuring,
covenant assessment, and complex capital structures. Proven ability
to manage high?risk/distressed portfolios through market cycles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence
vertically (executives), horizontally (partners), and externally
(clients, counsel, creditors). Broad industry knowledge across
multiple corporate sectors. Desired Qualifications: Prior
leadership experience managing senior professionals or small teams.
Deep expertise in workout strategy, problem loan restructuring, and
recovery optimization. Strong knowledge of business and commercial
law, including contracts and bankruptcy/insolvency frameworks.
Familiarity with ancillary banking products (treasury services,
derivatives, deposits, commercial cards). Strategic acumen combined
with attention to detail and execution discipline. Bachelor's
