Job Description:

craftsmanship to the skies. As a Product Cost Manager, you'll be
pivotal in steering our product development efforts to not only
meet market demands but also exceed them by optimizing production
costs without compromising on our commitment to quality. This role
involves a strategic blend of analytical prowess and market insight
to ensure our seating solutions are both cost-effective and
competitive. Develop and implement cost-saving measures across
product lines while maintaining high quality and performance
standards. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to
forecast costs for new products and enhancements. Analyze market
trends and production costs to establish product price strategies.
Prepare detailed reports and present cost analysis results to
senior management, providing actionable insights and
recommendations. Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate materials
pricing and seek out cost-effective alternatives where applicable.
Engage in the lifecycle management of products from conception
through release, ensuring budget adherence and cost optimization.
Implement cost-tracking mechanisms and maintain an up-to-date
database of cost-relevant information for all product lines. Strong
analytical and mathematical skills Advanced proficiency in cost
management software and Excel Excellent communication and
negotiation skills Proven ability to work cross-functionally with
engineering, design, and supply chain teams Proficiency in project
management and reporting Solid understanding of the aviation
industry and aircraft product development cycles Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification
in Project Management (PMP) desirable Qualification or
certification in Cost Accounting is a plus
